Lawyer Corinne Higgins has over eight years of experience advising clients on real estate transactions, litigation, loan transactions, and real estate workouts, as well as creditor advocacy in the Philadelphia area, and in her former homes of Louisville, Kentucky and Des Moines, Iowa.
Corinne does work for clients that include commercial landlords and tenants nationwide in retail leases, large-scale office leases, “big box” industrial and warehouse leases, mixed-use project leases, ground leases, and bondable and other types of financing leases. A considerable portion of her former practice involved representing individuals and small businesses on corporate and estate planning matters from incorporation to wind-down to succession planning.
Clients appreciate Corinne’s array of experience in a variety of complex matters, in addition to her ability to effectively communicate and advocate her clients’ positions. Her understanding of clients’ unique needs and personal attention produce clients who remain in touch years later, even after her representation has ended.
Prior to joining Larsson & Scheuritzel P.C., Corinne worked in the litigation department of an esteemed large law firm in Philadelphia, where she represented multinational banking clients. Prior to moving to Philadelphia, Corinne practiced law in Kentucky as a boutique firm litigator and advocate. In Iowa, she helped build a law practice with a partner from the ground up. She aims to build personal relationships with each of her clients, an attitude that her experience as an entrepreneur reinforced, and is grateful for the business acumen she developed while running a small firm.
Corinne graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2007. She is also a 2004 graduate of the University of Nebraska. When not practicing law, Corinne can be found reading, cooking, and enjoying opera.
